June 2009
The June 2009 issue of Professional Safety Magazine includes an article co-authored by RPT Safety & Health Services Partners Donna Cangelosi Crossman, Richard Crossman, and Julie Lovely. Entitled "Human Performance Improvement: Sustaining Safety Excellence," the article provides both a discussion of the theoretical underpinning of The FailSafe Workplace Sustainability System and offers many examples of practical application.

RPT Partner and President Donna Cangelosi Crossman, Ph.D. recently received a second place dissertation research award from the International Society of Performance Improvement (ISPI). Her study,The Impact of Safety Culture on Worker Motivation and the Economic Bottom Line, earned a $1000 honorarium. The ISPI advocates and promotes the use of Human Performance Technology to assist organizations in achieving exemplary performance. ISPI research awards are aimed at honoring excellence in student research. This year's winners were selected from a record number of entries.
December 2008
Donna Crossman, Ph.D. and Richard Crossman, CSP, OHST co-authored an article that appeared in the December 2008 issue of the Soteria Times (ASSE Eastern, NY Chapter newsletter). The article, entitled "Informal Incentives: Safety's 'Tipping Point,'" was based on original dissertation research conducted by Dr. Crossman.

An article entitled Achieving World-Class Safety through Human Performance Improvement, authored by Donna Crossman, Ph.D., appeared in the November 2008 issue of Performance Express, a member e-newsletter published by the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI).

The American Society of Safety Engineers has accepted an article co-authored by RPT’s three partners: Richard Crossman, CSP, Donna Crossman, Ph.D., and Julie Lovely, MBA. The article entitled Sustainable Safety Excellence through Human Performance Improvement is scheduled for publication in the June 2009 issue of Professional Safety.
September 2008
President and Co-founder Donna Cangelosi Crossman, Ph.D. successfully defended her doctoral dissertation in September 2008 and graduated from Capella University with a degree in Training & Performance Improvement. Under Dr. Crossman’s leadership, design of The FailSafe Workplace® Management System seminar is underway, and a rollout of the course is planned for 2009.
